About

Ronny East is a multidisciplinary artist passionate about all forms of creativity, including art, music, writing, animation, drawing, design, and tattoos. His artistic journey began in 2000 in Seoul, South Korea, where he developed a deep appreciation for visual storytelling at the Hongik University School of Art & Design. In 2011, he moved to New York City, refining his skills and expanding his creative vision at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
While tattooing in New York City, Ronny also worked as a graphic designer in the fashion industry, specializing in graphic t-shirts, textile, and surface design—skills he mastered at the Fashion Institute of Technology. His experience in fashion further enriched his artistic approach, allowing him to blend various design elements into his tattoo and visual art.
After years of dedication, he obtained his tattoo artist license in New York City in 2013 and spent the next decade honing his craft. In 2023, Ronny opened his private art studio in Brooklyn, where he explored new artistic directions and built a strong community around his work. Seeking a quieter, more focused environment, he relocated to Alabama in 2025 to further immerse himself in his own world of art.
Through Ronist, his creative studio, Ronny envisions a space where all forms of artistic expression come together. He aims to introduce and collaborate with various artists worldwide, directing new projects that push creative boundaries. Whether through ink, canvas, or digital media, Ronny’s art is a reflection of his journey, crafted to inspire and connect with others.
